Why Do People Use Promotional Items?
(2010-08-30 10:29:44)
There are a vast range of promotional items on the market these days, but not everyone has discovered their great uses and benefits, so I thought I would look at the reasons why people turn to them! For a start,
promotional items do not need to just be given away randomly. This can be a great way of getting noticed at trade fairs, but there are a lot of other tricks with these.
For example, ski wear related companies can have lift pass holders printed with their logo. Then, when someone buys from you, you give a free holder to them and they take it away with them. This is great as not only are they advertising you on their holiday, they are being reminded of where they buy from.
Take this a step further and you put a tub of these holders next to the till and sell them for a pound or so each. That way you recoup some of the cost whilst giving them just to the people that need them, yet still with the same advantages!
Lots of other shops can try this trick with related items, and again it can be taken a step further some times by producing a set of gifts and giving them out with successive purchases, maybe on different weeks, as certain fats food chains do.
It all just takes a little imagination!
